Aurora police seek shooting suspect

AURORA, Colo. — Police were looking for a young male Monday evening who allegedly shot another male during a fight.

The two males were seen fighting about 5 p.m. near the intersection of 16th Avenue and Lansing Street, the Aurora Police Department said. The suspect, described as a short black male in his late teens or early 20s, then drew a gun and shot the other person.

The suspect fled the scene on foot.

The victim was hospitalized, but the severity of his injuries was not released.
