DENVER — Police say a suspect wanted for a church burglary in southeast Denver was under arrest Wednesday. He is identified as 47-year-old Mark Douglas Johnson.

Police say he was arrested in Craig in northwestern Colorado Tuesday night.

The suspect was caught on surveillance video inside the Korean Christian Church at S. University Boulevard and E. Florida Avenue March 21.

Investigators say he stole sound equipment while there were people inside the building.

They were looking into whether the same suspect is connected to a string of similar burglaries at churches late in 2013.
