DENVER -- A Denver police officer went above and beyond the call of duty.

He saved a woman's life, and while the rest of us may not look at it quite this way, he points out it's part of his job to do that.

But it's what Officer Dwayne Huddleston did after he saved Alexis Davis that earned him an impressive honor Wednesday. He received the Citizens Appreciate Police Award.
