Recall announced on certain Playtex breast pumps

A recall has gone out for Playtex Nurser Deluxe Double Electric Breast Pumps on March 19, 2014.

SHELTON, Conn. –Energizer Personal Care and Playtex Manufacturing announced Tuesday it will have a voluntary nationwide recall of certain AC/DC power adapters that are used with Playtex Nurser Deluxe Double Electric Breast Pumps.

Playtex says the casing on some adapters might become loose and separate and could cause an electric shock. There have been no injuries reported to date.

The adapters were produced from November 2012 to July 2013 and can be identified by the product serial number P12324-XXXX through P13205-XXXX. It can also be identified by the adapter production code 1241 through 1324. The adapters were sold with the Playtex Nurser Deluxe Double Electric Breast Pump, not separately.
