DENVER -- It was quite a scene outside three Trader Joe's grocery stores which all had their grand openings in metro Denver Friday.

Lines stretched around the building as shoppers waited to fill their carts with popular products you can only find at Trader Joe's.

But even getting to the back of the line was a challenge at the Denver location at E. 8th Avenue and Colorado Blvd.

The store does have a parking lot, but people who live on neighboring streets say it isn't nearly enough, as was proven by number of cars parked in the nearby neighborhood.'

FOX31 Denver's Julie Hayden has more on the Trader Joe's parking woes in her video report.

When they announced the location of the store on Colorado, we knew immediately that it would be a nightmare for parking. It was a nightmare before, when Snooze was busy, finding parking if you wanted to frequent a business nearby was quite difficult. Even with assigned parking, we’d watch people park in a spot earmarked for the business we were heading to, then walk into Snooze. The same thing now, only taking bets, will they go to Snooze or Trader Joes or both?
