FREDERICK, Colo. -- Authorities have found a gold Bronco they were looking for in connection with a double kidnapping in Weld County Friday.

Weld County Sheriff's Office deputies said they began combing an area of Frederick Thursday evening after a man contacted police to report that his wife, Sherri Pachello, 56, had just called to say she was being chased by a dark-colored vehicle.

Deputies responded to Pachello's last known location and found a crash scene with an abandoned black 1992 Mercedes.

After further investigation, deputies said they learned that Pachello had driven to a home in Frederick to pick up her daughter, Alisha Johns, 36, who had gone to visit her estranged husband, Cimmeron Johns, 37.

Witnesses reported seeing two vehicles speeding away from the home, the vehicle in pursuit being a black Mercedes, which was often driven by Cimmeron Johns.

Deputies said they have not found Pachello's car, and believe Cimemeron Johns may have taken control of the vehicle with Pachello and Alisha Johns inside. They described the missing vehicle as a gold-colored 1991 Ford Explorer with the Colorado license plate number 880WJT.

The Bronco was found empty in Thronton Friday afternoon.

Deputies are continuing to investigate leads including the discovery Friday morning of two bodies in a remote part of Weld County. The identities of the two deceased people has not yet been determined.

“It’s an obvious concern due to the earlier kidnapping investigation in the area,” Bureau Chief Steve Reams told the Denver Post. “We’re not 100 percent sure this incident is related to the earlier one. It has all the appearances that it is connected.”

Deputies  have also uncovered information that was indicative of a domestic violence history between Alisha and Cimmeron Johns.

Pachello was described as 5-foot-3, 126 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes.

Alisha Johns was described as 5-foot-2, 120 pounds with blonde hair and brown eyes.

Cimmeron Johns was described as 6-foot, 250 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to contact the Weld County Sheriff's Office at 970-356-4015 ext. 2825.
