BOONE COUNTY, Ky. — Most kids jump for joy when they find out they have a snow day. On Monday, kids and parents in one Kentucky school district both got a good laugh because of how they found out about their school closure.

That had everything to do with the a creative school closure message recorded and sent out by a principal and teacher at a school in Boone County, Kentucky. It has been viewed over 75,000 times in a 24 hour period, and you can watch it above.

The duo also left this message under the video on YouTube:

“We like to have fun at our school. So after several school closings due to snow and cold, we recorded this call to parents to see if we could make them laugh. I think we succeeded. Boone County Schools in Kentucky is one of the nation’s finest. And our awesome parents deserve this chuckle.”
