WASHINGTON — Failed vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin reposted a quote from Martin Luther King, Jr.’s famous “I Have A Dream” speech on Monday — and took a swipe against President Barack Obama at the same time.

“Mr. President, in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. and all who commit to ending any racial divide, no more playing the race card,” she said in a Facebook post Monday, a holiday that marks the civil rights icon’s birthday.

While the 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee didn’t give a specific example of Obama playing the “race card,” her comment comes after the President referenced his race in a New Yorker article published over the weekend.

“There’s no doubt that there’s some folks who just really dislike me because they don’t like the idea of a black president,” Obama said. “Now, the flip side of it is there are some black folks and maybe some white folks who really like me and give me the benefit of the doubt precisely because I’m a black president.”

The quote came in a section of the story about his declining poll numbers among white voters over the last year. He also lost the voting demographic by a wide margin in his 2012 re-election bid, the article notes.

According to national exit polls, Obama won only 39% of the white vote.

Sarah Palin is absolutely correct here… But without the ability to use “Race”, Income, and (Their definition of) “Fairness”…. Democrats have nothing of substance to talk about.
Democrats will never give up their tactic to divide and separate by Race…. Perhaps the truer example of real racism.

It’s too bad that Obama has sullied the legacy of MLK with his overtly racist pronouncments and his decidedly racist Dept. of “Justice.” We had come so far as a nation in regards to race relations before Obama ascended his throne. Now, I believe if most people were honest with themselves, they know in their hearts things have taken a turn for the worse.

“Why do people still listen to her? The Kardashians have more brain cells that this brain dead harpy.”

So let me ask you a question, how far do you think you would get to win the office of The President of the United States? I think she has a lot of brain cells.

Palin will never stop making a fool out of herself….. she has plenty of pukes like the commish who follow her. don’t ever stop her from babbling it will keep the cons out of public office for a long time

If Sarah Palin is a fool, then what the hell do you call Nancy Pelosi? She is by far the biggest moronic blabbering idiot ever to appear on Capitol Hill – she is an embarrassment.
Most women dislike Sarah Palin because she is successful and attractive – jealousy is a powerful emotion huh.

I find the leftist garbage in this country usually can’t formulate a rational argument to counter whatever Palin has to say. The posts here reinforce that theory. They can’t explain why Palin, or any other conservative, is wrong so all they have left is name-calling. They are cowards unworthy of carrying her water.

Sarah Palin you are all over MLK day like white on Rice. You need to get a life! Just because Glen Rice didn’t call you back after he said he would – it’s not Obama’s fault!

Sarah Palin is a never ending source of humor for most Americans, and is a constant reminder that brains aren’t a requirement in order to run for office.

She has proven her self to be a hypocrite on multiple occasions, gets offended when asked a question that she doesn’t have an answer to written on her hand, has a vocabulary that is close to special-needs level, and has little to offer that Americans can take seriously.

I find it ironic that many of Palin’s supporters claim that many people don’t like her because she’s a woman, aka playing the sexist card, even though the reality is that most people, male AND female, don’t care for her because she is an idiot, pure and simple.

“Darren”… You gotta stop getting your “news” from Comedy Central…
you’re obviously mistaking Sarah Palin for Joe Biden here.
