Bomb threat called into Sports Authority HQ in Englewood, nothing found

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Someone called in a bomb threat to the Sports Authority headquarters in Englewood Monday afternoon.

Police said Monday night they did not find any explosives and they gave the all clear.

The call came into the office at 1050 West Hampden Ave. around 4 p.m., police said. A man said he was going to blow up the building, police said.

The building was evacuated and the bomb squad searched it. The facility is so large, it took until 7:30 p.m. to complete the search.
