DENVER -- World class athletes like players on the Denver Broncos need treatment each week to help them recover and heal up -- even if they're not on the injury report.

They're plenty banged-up after a hard fought game like the one against the Chargers ... or the one they're about to play against the Patriots.

It used to be that they would spend 45 minutes at a time in ice baths to help cure those aches and pains.

But now they're using high-tech treatment to make sure they're ready on game day.

Nick Griffith shows us this magic machine known as the "cryochamber," where the treatment lasts about three minutes because the temperature drops to a super-cold 170 degrees Celsius.

The treatment takes place at the Cherry Creek Spine and Sport Clinic.
