WESTMINSTER, Colo. — Westminster policed closed Sheridan between W. 92nd and 88th Streets Wednesday afternoon due to a water main break.

The break happened shortly before 1 p.m., forcing police to reduce traffic down to one lane in each direction.

As of late Wednesday afternoon, the road closures were causing delays on both Sheridan and U.S. 36.

Police said they expect this to impact Wednesday rush hour traffic.
