DENVER -- The El Paso County Sheriff's Office released a new timeline of events Monday surrounding the start of the Black Forest Fire.

The wildfire killed two people. It was also the most destructive wildfire in terms of homes lost in Colorado history.

There has been controversy about how the beginning of the fire was handled between the sheriff's office and the Black Forest Fire Department.
