BROOMFIELD, Colo. -- A partially paralyzed man survived a close call after his Jeep broke down near Crooked Peak Pass.

Matt Gypin, 32, uses a wheelchair due to a fall he suffered 10 years ago. So when his Jeep broke down in the snowy wilderness while he was driving down a rural road, it meant serious trouble.

But Gypin, a wheelchair rugby player, dragged himself to safety over the course of four hours.
