A 63-year-old woman was killed in a head-on crash with another car in Longmont.

LONGMONT, Colo. — A 63-year-old woman was killed in a head-on crash with another car in Longmont Wednesday night.

The woman, Kathleen Forsyth, was driving a 2009 Chevy Aveo on 9th Avenue near Francis Street when she drifted into the eastbound lane and hit a 2004 Mercury Sable, said Cmdr. Jeff Satur of the Longmont Police Department.

The driver of the second car, 75-year-old Shalby Foth, whose birthday was Wednesday, was conscious and talking after the crash, Satur said.

Both are Longmont residents.
