Recall for Yauk’s Specialty Meats expands

DENVER — The Food and Drug Administration Monday expanded the list of foods being recalled by Yauk’s Specialty Meats in Windsor.

The new recalled products can be identified by the establishment number “Est. 20309” inside the USDA Mark of Inspection and include:

  •  “Corner Post Meats” brand hams and bacon
  •  “Old Style Sausage” brand Smoked Andouille Sausage
  •  “Old Style Sausage” brand Smoked Kielbasa Sausage

In a statement, inspectors said that they found discovered the meat was being produced under insanitary conditions, including rodent activity in the production, storage and retail areas of the property.
