Assistant football coach accused of relationship with student

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — An assistant football coach at a Colorado Springs high school was accused this week of having a sexual relationship with a student, the Colorado Springs Police Department reported.

A school resource officer at Liberty High School filed a report after he became suspicious that David Kindig, 21, was involved with a student at the school, CSPD said.

Kindig, a seasonal employee, was charged with Sexual Assault on a Child By One in a Position of Trust.
