DENVER — After as many as 15 robberies in the Denver Metro area, two suspects believed to be the “Milli Vanilli bandits” were arrested Friday, the Denver Police Department reported.

Derrick Ervin, 29, and Jeremy Ervin, 33, were arrested on robbery charges, DPD said via Facebook.

Nicknamed the “Milli Vanilli Bandits” because of their disguises’ resemblance to the 1980s pop stars, the men are suspects in the robberies of more than a dozen pizza parlors, sandwich shops, salons and other businesses, police said.

Aurora Police Department helped capture the men, DPD said.
