DENVER — Police released a composite sketch Tuesday afternoon of a man they said tried to abduct a girl in November.

The girl was at a bus stop at 4300 E. Colorado Center Drive on Nov. 18 when she said a man in a green Subaru Outback stopped.

A man inside asked the girl to get into his vehicle, police said. When she refused, he got out of the Subaru and followed her when she walked away, said Denver police spokesman Sonny Jackson.

After a short time, he got back into his car and drove away.

Jackson said the girl described the man as Middle Eastern in his 20s. He is 6 feet 2 inches tall and had a thin build. He had a scar on his left cheek and a mark on his nose that looked as though it had possibly been broken in the past.
