Man flees after rollover accident in Lakewood

LAKEWOOD, Colo. — Police in Lakewood are trying to find a man who ran off after a rollover crash that injured one person Tuesday morning.

According to Lakewood Police dispatch, two cars collided just after 7 a.m. on South Wadsworth Blvd. and West Center Ave.

After one of the cars rolled over onto its side, the driver got out of the car and took off on foot, according to police.

SkyFOX flew over the accident early Tuesday morning as crews rescued the driver of the second vehicle. The victim was taken to the hospital in an ambulance. Their condition is not known at this time.

Police are still searching for the man who ran away from the scene.

    That’s not two cars; it’s a car and a pickup truck. I would like to say that my observation is that pickup trucks cause more accidents than texting while driving or drinking while driving combined.

    So the truck is guilty of the crime? Or are you saying people who drive trucks are more likely to cause an accident than people who drink and Drive? I have one question…. What the hell does a truck have to do with either?
