BOULDER, Colo. — Earlier this week, witnesses insisted they saw armed men pull a screaming woman into a van at a Boulder gas station. As of Friday, Boulder Police confirmed that a “crime did not occur” during the alleged kidnapping.
According to the Boulder Daily Camera, Boulder Police were searching for a white utility van with blacked-out windows around 10:45 p.m. Tuesday, after witnesses called to report a kidnapping, saying that four or five men in the van forced a woman with brown hair into the van at a Circle K gas station located at 1480 Canyon Boulevard.
Within 48 hours, police told the Camera they found the van, its driver, and the woman described in the alleged kidnapping.
“Boulder Police have concluded that a crime did not occur and the incident is closed,” Police said in a statement. No further information was given about the incident.AlertMe
