Police believe a 26-year-old Colorado Springs man may have been involved robbing up to five area stores in a span of three days.

Jason Eddleman was arrested Wednesday in connection with armed robberies at a Burger King, a Carl’s Jr., an electronics store and two 7-11 convenience stores between Oct. 28 and Oct. 30, the Colorado Springs Police Department reported.

In each case, a tall white man matching his description reportedly took cash at gunpoint. A blue minivan, later found to be stolen, was spotted at more than one scene.

On Wednesday evening, officers on another case spotted the minivan in the 1400 block of Alvarado Drive. Eventually, Edelman and two other people got in the vehicle and were immediately pulled over.
