DENVER — There is a good reason that you should always check your prescription medications carefully when you pick them up from the pharmacy.

While rare, mix ups can happen. The results of taking medicine that was meant for someone else could potentially be disastrous.

One woman found her medicine got mixed up at a Walgreens. The name was right, but the address wasn’t, and she got a prescription that was meant for another person that had the same name.
