DENVER -- A man who was awarded tens of thousands of dollars in an excessive force case that was caught on video, will have to try to collect the money himself.
The city of Denver says it's not paying.
Justin Joseph explains why in his video report.

I like how everyone has consequences except the government…
Brian
Well, he could always just go to the sheriff and have them seize a city vehicle or two. It worked for the fellow in the UK when he sued the banks and won. They refused to pay so he went to the sheriff to enforce the judgement. They locked the bank doors and seized equipment to cover the judgement. The bank wasn’t long coughing up the cash + sheriff fees.
Its not the same government but the principal is the same.

this is why we need a civil war. Besides Jughead Obama and the NSA. these farkers aren’t going to stop until they are eliminated.

WHEN DENVER WINS A JUDGEMENT AGAINST A CITIZEN, IT’S EITHER PAY OR GO TO JAIL!!!

So if I kill someone, can my defense be, “I wasn’t authorized to kill him so you can’t send me to jail.”?
William Boyle
So, he won a judgement? They won’t pay? Then it is time to lien on the City of Denver – like on City Hall? Take ownership of it, and then charge them rent! :-)
Aaron Turpen
Go after the cops individually for it. Seize their vehicles, houses, gun collections…

Then what good is the law?
Richard Nixon
Ron Hyatt is correct. It’s time.
Erik Jay
It’s PAST time.

When the law doesn’t apply to the government, does the law still exist?

Turn the city over to a collection agency and ding their credit.
