CLEAR CREEK COUNTY, Colo. -- "Well, it's on," is how shreaders and skiers described first-day snow at Loveland Ski Resort Thursday.

"We have a good mix of natural and man-made snow," said John Sellers. "This snow is the best it's been in at least two years!"

With the snow comes the toys to play on the snow with, from magnetic goggles, to boards and skis, to more protective helmets. There are many new devices for your snow fun pleasure this year.

The first week in November is when a huge trade show hits town for those looking to see everything new at once.

This year expect new looks at many ski centers around the state."New dining areas and larger changing lodges are in many of the centers," said Jenn Rudolph of Colorado Ski Country.

Wolf Creek will be the third ski area to open this season in Colorado. It opens Sunday. The Colorado ski season kicked off last Sunday at Arapahoe Basin.
