Hundreds of goats now working on wildfire mitigation in Douglas County

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo. -- Fire mitigation takes on a low-tech, organic form in one part of Douglas County.

Goats... 380 of them... are doing the job of helping clear wildfire fuel from nearby homes.

West Metro Fire experts say they're effective, but property owners will have to do a little more than just rely on the mammal mitigators.
