LYONS, Colo. — Police were still searching for a man Sunday night they believe fired shots inside a home near Lyons.

About 11:30 a.m., a 54-year-old man fired a gun and barricaded himself in his home in the 3500 block of Colard Lane in unincorporated Larimer County, the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office reported. No one was hurt in the incident.

A SWAT team served a search warrant on the home, but found it empty. Police believe the suspect had already fled in a vehicle. An investigation is ongoing, but officials do not believe the suspect to be dangerous.
