DENVER — A fire prompted evacuations at a downtown office building Sunday morning, the Denver Fire Department reported.

Firefighters responded about 8:45 a.m. to a blaze at 999 18th Street, DFD said. The two-alarm fire was found in the wall of the building between the third and fourth floors. A few people were evacuated while firefighters extinguished the fire.

No cause was immediately determined, but the blaze appeared to be accidental, DFD said.
