JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. — Eastbound Quincy Avenue was closed at Nelson Street Tuesday morning as Jefferson County Sheriff’s Deputies investigated potentially hazardous materials near Harriman Lake.

Just after 7 a.m., deputies tweeted that possible meth lab components were “dumped” near the lake.

SkyFOX flew over the area where investigators said a jogger found several jugs containing the liquids near the lake.

Deputies were not sure what the liquid was in the jugs.

Roads were closed in the area as a precaution.
