WOODLAND PARK, Colo. — A fire forced the evacuation of Woodland Park High School in Teller County Tuesday afternoon.

Everyone got out of the building and there were no injuries.

School was closed for the day and students were sent home.

The fire started from a grinding machine in the metal shop or in a maintenance building.

Police officers and firefighters went through the school twice to make sure everyone was out safe.
