AURORA, Colo. — Boat owners with vessels at Cherry Creek Reservoir are being urged to move their boats to higher ground.

Rangers at Cherry Creek State Park have been notified that the reservoir is expected to crest at 5,558 feet Monday, said Todd Brophy, president pf the Cherry Creek Marina.

“This is 8 feet above normal and 12 feet higher than last Wednesday,” Brophy said.

“We are asking for your help to notify anyone who has boats in the park or the Marina to please get them out and move them to high ground.”
