Gov. Hickenlooper, congressmen set to tour Colorado flood zones Saturday

BOULDER, Colo. — Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper and five Colorado congressmen will tour flood-damaged areas of the state Saturday afternoon, the governor’s office said.

Senators Mark Udall and Michael Bennet will join the governor, as will representatives Jared Polis, Ed Perlmutter and Cory Gardner, the governor’s office said.

The group will be fly over flood-damaged areas in a National Guard helicopter and receive a briefing on relief efforts. Hickenlooper was also set to hold a brief press conference.
