Colo. Springs police search for man accused of embezzling thousands from sick employer

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a man who is accused of embezzling more than $134,000 from his employer while he was recovering from a lengthy illness.

Waldo Lovi, 41, is a mechanic by trade and is believed to be working as a differential mechanic in the Pueblo area. He is wanted for felony theft.

If convicted, Lovi could face anywhere from four to 12 years in prison.

He is described as a 6-foot-1 Hispanic male with brown hair and brown eyes.
