Police name suspect in Denver fatal drive-by shooting

DENVER — Denver police have named a suspect in a fatal drive-by shooting that happened Sunday night.

Police are looking for Victor Baltazar, 39, in connection with the shooting that left Jose Gutierrez-Peredia, 25, dead.

Gutierrez-Peredia was shot and killed outside the Mariposa Apartments on West Mississippi Avenue.

Witnesses told FOX31 Denver it was a drive-by shooting.

Baltazar has an active arrest warrant for first-degree murder.
