DENVER –Members of the Denver Broncos management are making the hard decisions of who to cut to get down to the 53-man roster by the NFL’s deadline Saturday.

Denver has 22 players to cut from the team.

Veteran running back Lance Ball sent a Twitter message Friday night that he is moving on. That was good news for rookie C.J. Anderson. He tweeted that he made the team.

Cornerback Aaron Hester was also reportedly cut Friday.

Thursday night’s game against Arizona was the last chance for many players to impress John Elway and John Fox.

Running back Jeremiah Johnson has been injured most of training camp, but he did see action and did score a touchdown in the first quarter Thursday.

The question is how many backs will the Broncos keep?

Another reported player cut is receiver Gerrell Robinson. He made a great case for himself Thursday night getting a deep ball from Brock Osweiler in the first quarter.

Osweiler and Number three quarterback Zac Dysert both had solid nights. Dysert hit Robinson for a 25-yard touchdown in the third quarter.

Dysert hopes to make the 53-man roster instead of landing on the practice squad.

John Elway and John Fox plan to meet with the media Saturday after all the cuts are made. They’ll talk about the tough decisions and the roster they’re setting for the season.
