Number of people driving in metro Denver declining

DENVER -- The number of people driving vehicles in metro Denver is on the decline.

Experts cite a number of reasons. They include the growing availability of public transportation, high cost of gas and other expenses involved with operating a vehicle and crowded streets.

The largest age group that's driving the decline in driving is 18 to 35-year-olds.
