Starting next year, CVS Pharmacy will cut down its receipt sizes.

The country’s largest pharmacy chain plans to reduce the section on its paper receipts that details “ExtraCare” loyalty program information by 25 percent, according to a Facebook post. The move comes after customers asked for “all the savings and less paper,” the chain said.

The chain is also moving to expand an option that runs the offers electronically, with no paper involved at all.
