Kids with special needs are constantly being stereotyped in today's society. And now researchers at the university of Massachusetts might have found a way to block the extra copy of the chromosome that causes many of the symptoms of down syndrome. But if you could "cure" a child of the syndrome... would you?

We have Dr. Blumenthal, executive director of the Linda Crnic Institue for Down Syndrome and Michelle Whitten, who is a mother of a child with Down syndrome, and the executive director of the Global Down Syndrome foundation with us to talk more about the syndrome and the new research that could cure it.
