Pueblo police seek information on cold case murder

DENVER — The Pueblo Police Department is looking for anyone who recognizes a man they believe was murdered 24 years ago.

The man, who remains unidentified, was killed and dumped in a Pueblo river in August of 1989, police said. Police have reconstructed the following description of the victim:

  • White male, age 30-45 years.
  • About five feet, nine inches tall and weighing 140-160 pounds
  • Wearing a size small plaid blue, white and yellow sleeveless flannel shirt. His jeans were a size 30 inches by 32 inches.
  • Brown hair with partial temporal balding and a red brown moustache approximately one inch long
