COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — An airman at the Air Force Academy has been convicted of “aggravated sexual contact” against a woman at the academy at a court martial Friday.

Senior Airman Aaron C. Stubbs was sentenced to 15 months confinement, reduction in rank to Airman Basic and forfeiture of all pay. He will also be dishonorably discharged, the Academy announced.

Stubbs’ court martial started Tuesday. A panel of seven officers returned the verdict and rendered the sentence.

Stubbs was assigned to a security squadron at the academy and is not a student.

The victim was only identified as female enlisted member of the Air Force.
