BOULDER, Colo. — Boulder Police say a developmentally disabled young woman reported missing Tuesday afternoon was found safe late Tuesday night.

They say Erin Huss was in good condition when she was located. They were interviewing her to find out what happened.

Police initiated an active search and asked the public for help Tuesday evening while they tried to find the 19-year-old Hispanic female who was last seen in the 1500 block of Yarmouth St. at about 2:15 p.m.

A witness told police the teen got into an older red pickup truck.

Police were concerned because they say Huss has been known to take rides from strangers in the past.

She is from Alamosa, but she lives in Golden.

They did not say Tuesday night if any crime had been committed.
