DENVER – Four people died Saturday night in a single vehicle rollover accident near Arriba, Colo., the Colorado State Patrol reported.

A 2004 Chevy Tahoe with eight people on board was heading west on I-70 about 110 miles east of Denver when it ran off the left side of the road, striking a road sign, CSP said. The driver over-corrected, swerving across the road, causing the Tahoe to leave the right side of the highway and roll.

None of the people were wearing seatbelts and all eight were ejected from the vehicle, CSP said. The adult male driver was killed, along with one male passenger and two women. Another man suffered moderate injuries, while three juvenile males suffered minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
