Police in Thornton seek suspect who touched women on bike path

DENVER -- Police in Thornton are searching for a suspect involved in unlawful sexual contact and assault on bike paths.

According to police, in two separate incidents female bike riders were approached and tocuhed by an unknown male. Both cases occurred on bike paths along East 128th Street between York Street and Steele Street.

Police described the suspect as a white male, possibly in his 20s, approximately 5-feet, 9 inches tall, with light or brown curly/wavy hair. Clothing descriptions were different in both incidents.

Sergeant Matt Kandt said the women were approached from behind and touched inappropriately. After letting go of the victims, the suspect fled the area on a bicycle.
