4 juveniles arrested in Light Rail robbery

AURORA, Colo. — Four juveniles have been arrested and deputies are looking for one adult believed to be responsible for a robbery at the RTD Nine Mile Light Rail station.

The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrests Thursday.

The four juveniles are being held on a charge of aggravated robbery with a $50,000 bond. Their names have not been released.

Deputies are looking for a fifth suspect whose identity has not been released.

“Due to the cooperation of Crime Stoppers and our law enforcement partners, the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office made these arrests very quickly and will continue to attempt to apprehend the fifth suspect as soon as possible,” said Undersheriff David Walcher in a statement.

The robbery happened Friday.

Deputies released surveillance video showing the five suspects hold up the victim with a gun. They took his wallet and phone, deputies said.
