HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. -- Over 20 car and house windows have been smashed in a vandalism spree in Highlands Ranch Friday night, deputies said.

The vandalism happened over 20 different blocks in the Redhaven Way area, said Sgt. Ron Hanavan of the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.

One victim using a surveillance camera on their home captured video of the alleged vandals.

In the video, a silver Dodge Durango pulls up to the front of a home. The driver and passenger both got out of the Durango. The passenger then handed a rock to the driver, who threw it through the front porch window, Hanavan said.

The driver was wearing a black or gray T-shirt, black baseball hat on backwards and black shorts. The passenger was wearing an orange or red T-shirt with black shorts. Both appear to be white men in their teens, Hanavan said.

Crime Stoppers will offer a reward of up to $2,000 for any information leading to an arrest and the reporting person can remain anonymous. Tips can be called into 720-913-STOP (7867), or texted to: 274637 (CRIMES).
