Over the past twenty years there's been a new pattern of parenting that has become pretty common.

Too much involvement or hovering on behalf of mom and dad has been called “helicopter parenting.”

Today our focus is when this type of interference in their kids’ lives actually backfires  on the parents. When over parenting goes wrong.
