What's not to love at the denver comic con? For three days, earthlings come looking for lots of things:

Comic books, a chance to live out star wars fantasies... but Patricia Krmpotich came for love.

"I'm here to try because I'm looking for love in all the wrong places," said the costumed single.

Wading into the dating pool is hard enough. If you're going to date at warp speed, you have to dress the part.

“I’m dressed as Black Widow today,” she said. “She is one of my favorite Marvel characters."

Here, dating ice-breakers take a slightly different turn. It's all about finding things in common.

"I could never be with a man who didn't appreciate Spider-man," she said. “I want (a guy) to be cool with the fact that I dress up in costumes and go to nerd conventions."

This is Jarett Knox's first convention. The dating is just an added bonus.

“These are like my people," he said.

After round one, daters write down their information, hoping for a second date. It's proof you don't have to go to a galaxy far, far away to find love.

"’Loki girl’ gave me her number, so that's pretty cool," Knox said.
