DENVER -- Rain showers, heavy at times, developed up and down the Front Range from Fort Collins in to metro Denver and south to Castle Rock Wednesday night.
The rain was expected to continue until sometime Thursday afternoon. That means you need to be ready for a wet commute Thursday morning.

Our Pinpoint Weather team was calling for the "Super Soaker" of a storm to start fizzles out along the Front Range by around 11 a.m. Thursday.
Further south, concerns about flooding near the Waldo Canyon burn scar area remain in effect. And further west, a Winter Weather Advisory was in place in the High Country, where as much a s 5 to 8 inches of snow expected to fall in the higher elevations of the central mountains by the end of Thursday.
