At 360 feet long with a top speed of 15 mph, it’s designed to “stir up a love of thrills for kids of all ages – and those who are truly kids at heart.”

“We can’t wait to see how many families will take their first roller coaster ride together on Blazin’ Buckaroo,” said Tracy Durham, Elitch Gardens Theme & Water Park’s director of marketing.

The amusement park is also expanding its entertainment experience in 2013, putting on a total of seven new shows. The Raptor Project will brings birds of prey to Elitch Gardens as eagles, hawks, falcons and owls soar over the audience in a fierce display of strength and grace. Other shows will feature African dance, magic and motorcycle stunts.
