DENVER -- Fans lined up at the Denver Auto Show not just to see cars, but to see their favorite Denver Nugget.

“He’s definitely my role model,” said Sarah Railsback referring to Nuggets star Danilo Gallinari.

Gallinari signed autographs and snapped pictures with fans like Tyler Frazer. The team is fresh off a tight win Thursday night against the 76ers.

“I was already crying because they were going to lose, but then I saw that big win,” said fan Elvia Martinez.

“That was a crazy game, probably the craziest game I’ve had in Denver in 2 1/2 years,” Gallinari said .

Fresh off that win, the star is glad to have a breather and meet the people who cheer for him game after game, especially the kids.

“They grow up with you and when they grow older they can say they grew up watching you on the court,” he said.

It’s been a stellar season and fans think the Nuggets have what it takes to keep it going.

“If they win the division I think they’ve got every chance of getting into the finals,” said Matt Frazer.

“I think they’re going to win, they’re going to beat the Kings,” said 7-year-old Noah Boyle.

Meeting Gallo was a highlight for most of these fans.

“It made my year,” said Railsback.
