OKLAHOMA CITY — The Denver Nuggets did something their franchise has never accomplished before in the NBA Tuesday night. They won their 13th straight game.

It was a convincing win: 114 to 104 over the power house Oklahoma City Thunder. And that’s after the Nuggets played a hard-fought battle in Chicago the night before to beat the Bulls 119-118 in overtime.

The Nuggets have won six straight games on the road and three straight over the Thunder.

Ty Lawson led the way for Denver… with plenty of help from his teammates. Lawson had 25 points. Andre Miller celebrated his 37th birthday by scoring 20 points and recording 9 assists and 7 rebounds.

Denver goes for win number 14 in a row Thursday night against the Philadelphia 76ers at Pepsi Center.
